No. Garetto is a peaceful place where guests come to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. For this reason, loud parties and events are not permitted. We kindly ask everyone to respect the peaceful atmosphere and our neighbours
Can larger groups stay at Bonovivo?
Yes. Casa Sogno Italiano (5-7 person) and Al Settimo Cielo (5-6 person) can be booked together, making them ideal for large families or two families travelling together. The shared garden and swimming pool create the perfect setting to spend time together while still enjoying the privacy of your own holiday home.
Casa Karla (6 person) is located approximately 300 metres away, so it can also be combined with the other holiday homes for larger groups.

Is there air conditioning in the holiday homes?
The traditional thick stone walls help keep the houses naturally cool, even during the warm summer months.

- Casa Karla has air conditioning in two bedrooms and in the living room/kitchen. The smaller part of Casa Karla is partially built into the hillside, which helps maintain a pleasantly cool temperature throughout the day.
How large is the swimming pool, and is it shared?
The saltwater pool at Casa Sogno Italiano and Al Settimo Cielo measures 12 × 6 metres, with a depth ranging from 80 cm to 2 metres. The pool is shared with guests staying in the two other 2 holiday homes on the estate. The covered terrace, sun loungers, and garden seating are also shared.
The saltwater pool at Casa Karla is completely private and exclusively for the use of Casa Karla guests.
Are there shops and restaurants nearby?
Yes. The charming village of Chianni, about a 15-minute drive away, offers a small supermarket, local restaurants, cafés, and other essential amenities.
For larger grocery shopping, you can visit the MD Supermarket in La Rosa, approximately 20 minutes away.
There are also many excellent restaurants in the surrounding villages, including Chianni, Lajatico, La Sterza, Rivalto, and several other authentic Tuscan towns.
After booking, you’ll receive our personal information guide with many more recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets, local markets, day trips, hidden gems, and activities to help you make the most of your stay. We are also happy to share our personal favourites and tips.
Is a car necessary?
Yes, we strongly recommend having a car. Garetto is located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, where public transport is limited. Having a car gives you the freedom to explore the beautiful villages, vineyards, and surrounding attractions at your own pace.
